On the occasion of Queer Azadi Mumbai Pride March 2019, Anubhav – A Youth Festival was organised on Saturday, 12 January at Juhu Koliwada Community Hall.
The event consisted of different interactive and awareness driven activities like Just A Minute, Story Telling, Poetry, Ad mad, Poster Making, Photography, Treasure Hunt and Talent Show which enabled youth to understand LGBT concerns thereby sensitising them towards the community. Young students aged 18-30 and student-led groups from almost 16 different college/organisations as well as individual members participated.
Transgender activist Priya Patil and Kumar Shetty from Sakhi Char Chaughi were present for the opening ceremony whereas Marathi actress Apurva Paranjape and transgender activist Vicky Shinde were present for the closing ceremony of the Anubhav 2019.
